Senior Staff Nurse -Night Duty  Critical Care Unit                                                 Competitive salary plus benefits

Our client, a prestigious private hospital in Central London is looking for a senior staff nurse to work night duty in their well established Critical Care Unit. The usual pattern of work is 7 nights on and 7 nights off.

The successful candidate will be a competent critical care nurse who has successfully completed a recognised ITU course. An ALS/ILS certificate is essential as is a teaching and assessing qualification.

The post holder will be required to co-ordinate activities on the unit on a regular basis ensuring that effective communication is maintained at all times. They must also be willing to be involved in working parties/groups and also to participate in audits and training activities.


Lead Physiotherapist (Impatients) Physiotherapy Department

Our client, a prestigious private hospital in Central London, is seeking to appoint a Lead Physiotherapist.

The successful candidate will join their dynamic and progressive team and be the Lead Therapist in Inpatients. You will provide expert physiotherapy assessment and treatment for elective orthopaedics, medical/surgical, hydrotherapy and some outpatients.  You will be responsible for daily operational tasks on Inpatients, such as delegation of caseloads, supervision and clinical development of junior staff and students, as well as participation/ development of an MDT In-service training programme. You will also support the Physiotherapy Manager with audits/ trials and ensure the highest standard of clinical care in the department.

You must have extensive clinical experience, a good track record in leading an inpatients team and innovative ideas on how services need to be developed to lead the department into the future. You will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


Operating Department Practitioner                                                                        Competitive salary plus benefits

The successful candidate will join our clients' dynamic operating team to provide the highest standards of patient care by ensuring a safe, caring and efficient service within the department.

You will be aware of and comply with current hospital policies and Health and Safety at work act aswell as COSHH procedures. You will assist and be available to do anaesthetist during all stages of the anaesthesia, assisting with the necessary drugs and equipment.

Flexibility in shift patterns is required along with oncall duties.

NVQ Level 3 in operating practice is essential.


Senior Physiotherapist - Physiotherapy Department

Having already commenced your career as a physiotherapist, you will have at least 3 years post graduate experience, preferably with rotations in most of the above areas. You will be highly motivated, patient-centred, with excellent assessment and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate wil assist the qualified Operating Theatre Staff in the preparation, checking and cleaning of equipment and instrumentation required for daily operating lists.

Effective communication with all other wards and departments is required.


PACS Administrator - Imaging Department

PACS Administrator required to manage the technical administration and user support for all electronic imaging systems e.g. the Radiology Information System (RIS), and Picture Archive and Communication System (PACS), Mediweb Electronic Patient Requesting and will include other related systems as they are implemented.  The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that the system upgrades are kept up to date and ensuring  that the hospital keeps abreast of developments in London and nationally. The post holder will contribute to service process redesign and change management to maximise the benefits of the introduction of information technology and upgrades. 

Imaging systems provide the administration and image capture functionality to provide diagnostic images for clinical decision making or radiological reporting. The post holder will ensure that these systems contribute effectively to the imaging department’s service, ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures and are kept up to date with developments in the area.

He/she will ensure images are available when required for patient management and monitor the systems to ensure it is fully functional and meeting performance standards. The post holder will train all users (including all hospital staff and external referrers) as well as liaise with suppliers.


Orthopaedic Team Leader - Operating Department
